Recipe: Dessert Fries with Marshmallow Sauce and Raspberry Sauce

This recipe was very quick and easy to make. The video shows how to make it, very effectively and the written recipe was quite clear on instruction.

I put the dessert fry batter, raspberry sauce and marshmallow sauce in separate piping bags. I used rice bran oil to deep fry these dessert fries.

I recommend making and frying the dessert fries first, then make the raspberry sauce, then the marshmallow sauce, because the marshmallow sauce starts to harden and go sticky and stretchy.

When it was ready, it looked delicious and tasted amazing. The raspberries cut through the sweetness of the marshmallow sauce.

Recipe: Banana Cream Pie

This recipe is the oldest recipe I have ever made. It was simple to make but had a few missing steps, that would have been helpful. It didn't have any time frames, so I had to guess when it had finished baking.

I didn't put the orange extract in the filling, because I couldn't find it at my local shops. It also sounded strange to put orange extract in a banana cream pie. The filling was very similar to a custard.

When I had finished making the banana cream pie, I used a blow torch on the meringue top. That was probably the best part of making this pie.

It tasted pretty good, even though I personally hate bananas. The banana cream pie tastes better when it is hot. My friends who tried it, loved it! So i call this a success.

Recipe: Ginger Beer (Non- Alcoholic)

This recipe was quick and easy to make. I made it for my dad on Father's Day. The recipe that I used was out of date and I ended up putting more ginger in than the updated recipe says, that I have since located.

When I served it, it looked like actual beer. As you can see in the picture above, it even has the foam.

Because of the addition of extra ginger, it was quite strong, and all who drank it most likely won't be getting a cold anytime soon.

The taste was a strong, and slightly sour (because of the lemon) ginger drink. It did taste like a store bought ginger beer, apart from the sweetness.

According to my dad and I, it tastes very delicious with a teaspoon or two of raspberry jam mixed in.
